Welcome to Venteux, population around 20,000 people. Venteux is nestled right between the United States and Canada, and is renouned for being a city very educated in the arts. Artists from all across the globe travel here to take part in the art shows, or the dance competions, hoping to make it big. Although quite small, this town has loads of drama, gossip, and bitchyness, that's twice its size. It's like a normal city, right? With its big city attitude, fancy ski resorts, and one of a kind apartments?
Most tourists would think that, but any of the older residents can tell you differently.
Venteux is an old city, founded in 1913, ninety-five years ago. It thrived off of the land, and a few years after it's founding, became a city of art. People flocked here, drawn in by its aristocratic charm...Then, it happened.
Huge wolves, unlike any you have ever seen stormed through the city, decimating everything they could get their teeth on, whiping out over half of the original population. The city was devistated by an enemy that had been lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike. It has been, and still is the worst tragedy in Venteux history. After it happened, people began speculating what actually happened. Was it a pack of rabid wolves, coming down from the mountains? Yet...these wolves were bigger, faster, stronger than any normal one. Some say they saw one of the wolves shift into a human of flesh and blood. And that is when the theory of werewolves came about. Werewolves were supposedly imaginary creatures, correct? So there was no need to investigate that any further.
Well, a group of cryptozoologists came from all parts of the country to investigate, and they concluded that there were indeed werewolves hiding in the forests just beyond the city. Those men were killed a couple days later after they released that statement. The people of this city only know that the forests and mountains beyond Venteux are not safe, and even the city itself is not save from these savage creatures...
